The Triangle of Personal Growth

Start, Stop, and Continue

Glowing green triangle labeled "Start," "Stop," "Continue" on black background; titled "The Triangle of Personal Growth." Site: ThinkinginTriangles.com.

The triangle of Start, Stop, and Continue is a simple yet powerful framework for reflection and growth. It helps you evaluate actions, prioritize what matters, and make meaningful changes.

  1. Start: Identify what you need to begin doing to achieve your goals. These are new habits, strategies, or actions that align with your vision for improvement. Starting something means taking initiative and embracing growth.

  2. Stop: Recognize what is no longer serving you. These are the actions, habits, or routines that create obstacles, waste time, or drain energy. Stopping allows you to eliminate distractions and make room for what truly matters.

  3. Continue: Acknowledge what is working well and should be sustained. These are the practices and behaviors that are driving success or maintaining balance. Continuing ensures consistency and builds on existing strengths.

By evaluating what to start, stop, and continue, you create a clear path toward progress and intentional living.
